Eldodo presents “Harvest Between the Pages”

From October 5th to 10th, Eldodo Libreria hosts the new edition of “Vendemmia tra le pagine,” a festival dedicated to wine as a cultural heritage, a symbol of conviviality, and an inexhaustible source of stories.

For a week, books become the thread that weaves together past and present, architecture and landscape, experiences of taste and imagination.

The program offers events for adults and children, with the aim of describing wine not through tasting, but as a narrative capable of uniting people, places, and traditions.

Readings for the little ones

The festival will open with an animated reading of “The Fox and the Grapes,” designed for children and families: a moment of play and reflection that harks back to the timeless wisdom of fairy tales.

Books to discover and authors to meet

During the week, the public will be able to participate in three meetings with the authors, who will offer different and complementary perspectives on the world of wine:

  • Marco Pozzali, with 199 extraordinary wines (Gribaudo), is a passionate guide to discover unmissable labels and surprising stories.
  • Chiara Bassi, with Sommelier: The Handbook for Aspiring Professionals (Somilier), a text that explains the art and technique of tasting with clarity and passion.
  • Margherita Toffolon, with Cantine storiche d’Italia (Rizzoli), a unique journey through architecture, winemaking, and the beauty of Italy’s landscapes.

We like it because

The grape harvest is a ritual that marks the transition between seasons.

It’s the moment when a year’s work comes to fruition.

There’s something poetic about it: the scent of the grapes, the shared effort, the colors of autumn.

In books, the grape harvest often becomes a symbol of family ties, memory, anticipation, and transformation.
