It is not only a product but more importantly a sustainability project, the now dilapidated production factory has been completely renovated.

A group of European entrepreneurs decided to save Lamali.

Employees and their families have been rehired under a social contract that provides 8-hour workdays and adequate wages.

Ban on child labor and funded schooling up to college for employees’ children and more.

Lamali notebooks have received ISO 9001:2000 certification, which ensures that the products are in line with what is required by current regulations.

But also ISO 14001:2004, which measures and improves environmental impact.

Lamali Shibori Notebook, is a notebook handmade in India.

The cover is made with the ancient Japanese Shibori technique that uses only natural pigments: the blues of Indigo, the yellows of Turmeric, and the reds of Madder.
