SEE THE PLANETS

All planets in the solar system, except Neptune and Pluto, are visible to the naked eye.

Looking at the sky, Mercury and Venus can be recognized because of their proximity to the Sun.

Mercury appears reddish in color and brighter than a star, although of similar size. Venus is even the brightest celestial object after the Sun and Moon.

Mars for its red coloring, visible every two years. Jupiter, yellow and orange is recognizable for about eight months of the year.

Saturn is also observable for at least eight months of the year, but only with binoculars can you barely catch a glimpse of the famous rings.

And Uranus: visible to the naked eye, it has always been mistaken for a star, only in 1781 did the English astronomer William Herschel realize it was a planet.
